This temporary position offers an engaging opportunity to instruct students in grades 8 through 12. The selected candidate will leverage their expertise in Industrial Education, covering topics such as Woodwork and Metalwork, along with Computer classes for grades 8 and 9. A commitment to on-site teaching is required, and the role is scheduled to start September 8, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Woodwork 10/11/12 and Metalwork 8/9

• Instruct Intro to Trades and Computers 8/9

• Assess and engage with students in practical applications

• Maintain compliance with teaching standards

• Support student learning with innovative teaching methods

Requirements:

• Degree or training in Woodwork and Metalwork

• Red Seal certification or equivalent qualification

• Experience teaching Computers at the secondary level

• BC Teacher Certification preferred

• Comply with Criminal Records Review Act
