Position: Automation Specialist for Processing Systems
Elevate mineral processing operations as a Specialist, Automation at our leading firm. This role focuses on process automation and advanced technology implementations in a collaborative team environment.
Reporting to the Senior Engineering Supervisor, the Specialist, Automation, Processing Systems plays a crucial role in delivering and maintaining cutting-edge technologies for our mineral processing operations. Key responsibilities include implementing process automation, optimizing systems, and ensuring operator safety. You will collaborate with both internal and external teams while adhering to health and safety programs and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain process automation technologies

• Troubleshoot technical issues with diverse teams

• Collaborate on major project designs and implementations

• Optimize safety and sustainability practices

• Document standards and best practices for processes
Requirements:

• Minimum two years in industrial process control systems

• Experience programming PLC and HMI Systems

• Electrical or instrumentation background preferred

• Ability to interpret engineering documentation

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required
