We are looking to fill the position of Retail Sales Clerk at
Fernie Alpine Resort
. You find yourself when you enter one of our stores. Youhave a passion and knowledge for mountain fashion and ski/boarding gear and canalways scope out the latest styles. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, cash handling and computer experience and will be ateam player. The primary focus is to consistently meet and exceed the expectations of our internal and external guests through timely, effective and appropriate operations of Sports Alpine Boutique.

• Ensure a safe, comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff
• Continually strive to exceed our Guest’s experience and to create memories for guestsand staff as the best mountain experience
• POStransactions and end of day cash outs
• Assistin merchandizing store to ensure ideal presentation of product
• Knowand adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts ofthe Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
• Knowand follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
• Knowand comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs
• Perform other tasks and duties that are applicable

• Proven experience in retail, inventory control and cash handling
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher)
• Physically capability to lift moderately heavy items, stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull andcarry items and use a step ladder
• Availability to work days, early evenings, weekends and holidays

• Competitive wage: $ p/hour
