Position: Class 1 or 3 Driver at GFL
GFL Environmental is hiring a Class 1 or 3 Driver for our Fernie, BC team. Operate trucks for multi-family and commercial waste collection along designated routes.

As a Driver at GFL, you will engage with various customers daily while transporting waste and recyclables. We seek candidates committed to safety with a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Key Responsibilities:

• Drive commercial frontload trucks along assigned routes

• Interact courteously with customers and respond to their needs

• Clean trash from trucks and maintain cleanliness around collection areas

• Maneuver trucks into tight spaces safely using mirrors

• Monitor operations for loose debris during loading operations

Requirements:

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

• Proven ability to safely operate trucks and related equipment

• Basic mechanical knowledge for safe truck operations

• Capability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds

• Dexterity to coordinate multiple limbs while driving
