The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute “start to finish” variable tasks such as planograms, as well as provide support for other tasks including merchandise and fixture assembly, and the maintenance of all signage. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and Team Members, while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

As a FAST Team Member, you must be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented. You should be able to fulfill the following requirements:

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
• Communicate proactively with your District FAST Supervisor about work progress, issues, and solutions.
• Complete planograms and resets accurately and on time.
• Perform store-specific measurements and cycle counts.
• Complete the Tractor Way top cap process and hang store signage.
• Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
• Review planogram integrity and perform detailed recovery.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service using the GURA approach:
• Greet the Customer.
• Uncover Needs & Wants.
• Recommend Solutions.
• Ask to Add Value & Appreciate.
• Ensure customers have a distinguished shopping experience.
• Provide peak coverage during high-traffic times (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience:

Prior retail or merchandising experience required. Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

• Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.
• Interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution.
• Self-directed with minimal assistance needed.

• Mostly indoor work with moderate noise; outdoor lots are hard surfaces.
• Shifts typically range from 4 to over 8 hours, varying by store.
• Travel between stores using personal vehicle is required, sometimes for long durations.
• Adherence to safety guidelines is mandatory.

• Travel as needed.
• Push/pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with equipment.
• Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
• Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, climb ladders regularly.
• Access all store areas safely.
• Operate store equipment, including computers and cash registers.
• Read, write, and count accurately for documentation.
• Handle contact with birds/poultry.
• Complete training successfully.
• Operate equipment like dollies, hand trucks, forklifts, balers, and computers (forklift and baler if 18+).
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Drive a vehicle.
• Perform walking, standing, reaching, and moving merchandise throughout the store.
