Position: Post-Doc (incarico di ricerca)
A fully-funded 1‑year post‑doc position ("Incarico di Ricerca", with possibility for extension) in the development of antimicrobial PNAs will open soon.

Mandatory (by law):
Master in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry (Italian LM‑13, LM‑54, LM‑71 or equivalent obtained abroad) obtained no more than 6 years ago.

We are seeking a highly motivated post‑doctoral candidate to join our team. Successful candidates will contribute to developing next generation antimicrobials in the frame of the BactEradiX project. The candidate will be teamed with 2 PhD students and will be involved in the realization of:

Modified peptide nucleic acids (PNAs)

Artificial DNases

PNA‑containing LNPs

The ideal candidate has:

PhD in Organic, Industrial or Pharmaceutical Chemistry (LM‑13, LM‑54, LM‑71)

Experience in solid‑phase peptide synthesis (must have)

Experience and strong attitude for target‑oriented organic chemistry

Open to intersect oral and interdisciplinary collaborations

Proactive attitude in facing challenges, respecting colleagues, and proposing novel ideas
