Overnight Closer Weekdays

Job Summary

The Overnight Closer (Member Services Representative) will create a positive member experience by providing superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. Responsibilities include closing the day’s shift, creating accurate bank deposits, and performing all front desk activities.

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle all front‑desk activities: answer phones, assist callers, check members into the system, process new member sign‑ups, and tour prospective members.
• Facilitate updates to member accounts and respond to member questions/concerns in a timely, professional manner, escalating to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
• Maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
• Close shift for the business day and create a bank deposit for the next day.

• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability is a must.
• Exceptional customer‑service skills; able to interact positively and professionally, exceeding member expectations.
• Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and problem‑solve.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions.
• CPR certification required.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
• Ability to work 3rd shift (overnights).
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals during shift.
