BJC Health Care Med Group is seeking a PRN Cardiac Sonographer (Echocardiography) at our outpatient Cardiology Clinic in Festus, MO.

Day shift hours

Current certification or obtaining in the next 6 months a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent

Role Purpose

The Cardiac Sonographer performs a variety of cardiac testing, including treadmill stress testing, holter monitoring, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echo, stress echo and cardiac doppler.

• Performs tests and procedures at various locations.
• Maintains accurate patient logs.
• Updates daily charges in the computer, utilizes cardiac lab menus in the computer.
• Maintains cardiac lab patient files.

• High School Diploma or GED

• No Experience

• No Experience

• RDCS or equiv

• Associate's Degree
• Allied Health/Sonography

• Less than 2 years

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
