Overview
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Position Details

• Premium Night Shift Sign On Bonus:
  • Graduate Nurse $10,000
  • Experienced Nurse $13,000
• 36 hours per week, Nights
• Merry Hospital Jefferson, Festus, MO 63028
• Unit includes labor, delivery, postpartum, well newborns, and a level II special care nursery. Also cares for GYN surgical patients. Nurses are expected to work fluidly with all patient populations.

• Education:
  
  Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure:
  Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure; must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
