Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified IMC RN in Festus, Missouri, 63028!

Travel: RN Stepdown – Days

Festus, MO | Acute Care

Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts | Rotating weekends every other week | 13-week assignment

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on a Cardiac Stepdown unit serving Neuro Medical Surgical patients
• Maintain professional accountability for the provision of patient care and evaluate the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other direct care givers
• Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments to ensure continuity and quality of services
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with applicable standards
• Float to other units as needed to support staffing requirements
• Perform all duties in a manner consistent with established mission, values, and service standards

• Current RN license — must meet criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently hold a Missouri RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1+ year of Stepdown experience
• Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1 — declinations and exceptions are not accepted
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR

• Experience caring for Neuro Medical Surgical patient populations
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team player with flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments

• Work at a recognized acute care facility that earned an 'A' grade in The Leapfrog Group's Fall 2024 Hospital Safety Grade, reflecting a strong commitment to patient safety
