Job Description

What is a Salesperson? Entry level sales position capable of supporting the DIY business and achieving our sales and service objectives. The role requires good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive system knowledge, and basic part knowledge. It must have the basic ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers, as well as in‑depth knowledge of the store inventory and maintenance processes.

The position can be part‑time or full‑time. Fleet safety certification preferred.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide an excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
  • Achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach its sales targets.
  • Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installation.
  • Maintain store product and operational standards.
  • Manage inventory processes including truck put‑away, shoot‑outs, cycle counts, and back‑stock.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot).
  • General stocking including truck stocking and back‑stock.
  • Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
Success Factors
  • Basic driving and navigation ability.
  • Proficiency with delivery board systems.
  • Friendly communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to locate and stock parts.

  • 2‑3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
Store Driver

Entry level position supporting delivery of parts to commercial customers. The role delivers parts, picks and stages orders, processes returns and cores, handles sales flyers, and manages credit account collections. The position can be part‑time or full‑time and must be fleet safety certified.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
  • Pick and stage parts for customer orders.
  • Pick up returns and cores.
  • Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers.
  • Daily collection of credit accounts.

Physical Demands

Employees will predominantly walk or stand, handle and feel with hands and fingers, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. They must frequently lift or move up to 50 lb and occasionally lift or move up to 100 lb. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

The work environment is inside with occasional outside exposure to weather, chemicals, mechanical parts, high or precarious places, electrical shock, explosives, and vibration. Noise levels are usually moderate.
