Compensation: Base salary plus commission with earning potential based on experience and performance
Schedule: Monday through Friday with occasional flexibility based on projects and customer needs
Work Location: In-office daily with local travel to customer locations and project sites
Build Commercial HVAC Projects From the Ground Up
Crystal Heating and Cooling is looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Design and Estimating Sales Specialist who can take a commercial opportunity from the initial conversation through design, estimating, proposal, and sale.
This position combines technical HVAC knowledge with business development. You will work with contractors, building owners, and commercial customers to understand project requirements and develop practical, competitive HVAC solutions.
Commercial HVAC experience is essential. We are more interested in your industry knowledge and ability to successfully develop projects than specific certifications.
What You'll Handle
- Develop new commercial HVAC project opportunities
- Build relationships with contractors, building owners, and commercial customers
- Meet with project stakeholders to determine HVAC needs and scope
- Review construction plans, specifications, and project requirements
- Develop design-build HVAC solutions
- Estimate equipment, labor, materials, and subcontractor costs
- Request and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing
- Create and present project proposals
- Negotiate scope and pricing with customers
- Coordinate successful projects with operations and project management
- Maintain an organized pipeline of active opportunities
- At least 2 years of commercial HVAC sales, estimating, design-build, or similar experience
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC equipment and systems
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
- Experience developing HVAC estimates or project proposals
- Strong communication and customer relationship skills
- Ability to balance multiple projects, bids, and deadlines
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Availability to work from the office and travel locally as needed
