Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to support electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment and systems. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on industrial equipment and systems
Diagnose and repair motors, drives, starters, breakers, transformers, and control systems
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
Work with PLCs, instrumentation, and electronic control systems
Replace and install components such as motors, valves, thermocouples, and transmitters
Support preventative maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability
Enter and track work orders in CMMS systems and locate parts as needed
Operate mobile equipment and assist with rigging when required
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Qualifications
Industrial electrical maintenance experience required
Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and control systems
Experience with PLCs, instrumentation, and industrial automation preferred
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
Familiarity with power distribution systems and AC/DC circuits
Experience using hand tools, electrical testing equipment, and measuring devices
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 100 lbs Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying temperatures
Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and repetitive motion
Ability to work in environments with dust, fumes, and industrial conditions
Additional Information Must be able to pass an electrical aptitude test Safety-focused mindset is required at all times
