Job DetailsPosition: Clinician II
Job Type: Full‑Time / Non‑Exempt
Shift Details: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Work Location: Intensive Residential Treatment Center – Fife, Washington
Hourly Wage: $36.00 – $38.00
Responsibilities- Guest Care & Advocacy
- Serve as the mental health professional until enrollment in external community services.
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Provide appropriate support, referral, and education.
- Offer short‑ and long‑term recovery‑oriented counseling and education, individually or in groups.
- Provide family education and family counseling.
- Facilitate recovery education courses.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Determine provisional diagnosis, obtain documentation of medical necessity, and submit authorizations promptly.
- Complete required clinical documentation and incident reports.
- Stay abreast of federal, state regulations, and Recovery Innovations policies.
- Adhere to compliance standards per Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
- Additional Duties
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education & Licensure
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited institution.
- Associate level professional licensure in an applicable behavioral health field (required).
- State professional certification where applicable.
- Specific state licensing requirements (see Addendums below).
Experience
- Minimum one year of behavioral health experience.
Competencies & Skills
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Excellent documentation and attention to detail.
- Problem‑solving and effective listening skills.
- Ability to pass state‑required de‑escalation training.
Driving & Miscellaneous
- Meet driving policy requirements if required; otherwise, submit Non‑Driver Attestation.
- Travel as needed.
- Minimum age 18, unless state or funder dictates otherwise.
- Complete comprehensive credentialing and maintain confidentiality (HIPAA).
- Second‑chance employer: pass seven‑year background check, substance abuse testing (if applicable), education verification, fingerprinting clearance, vehicle report if driving required.
- Arizona: Master’s Degree;
Licensed Associate Counselor, Master Social Worker, or Marriage & Family Therapist. - California: Master’s Degree;
Associate licensure; state certification. - Delaware: Master’s Degree;
Licensed Associate Counselor of Mental Health, Marriage & Family Therapist, Chemical Dependency Professional, or Master Social Worker. - Louisiana: Master’s Degree;
Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor, Master Social Worker, Provisional Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, or Addiction Counselor. - Maryland: Master’s Degree;
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Master Social Worker, Clinical Professional Counselor, Clinical Marriage & Family Therapist, or Clinical Social Worker‑C. - North Carolina: Master’s Degree;
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, Marriage & Family Therapy Associate, Clinical Social Worker Associate, or Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate. - Ohio: Master’s Degree;
Licensed Professional Counselor, Marriage & Family Therapy Associate, or Social Worker. - Washington: Master’s Degree;
Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate, Marriage & Family Therapy Associate, or Advanced Social Worker Associate.
