Production Worker B – 1st Shift – Gibraltar Industries
Schedule: Monday‑Friday 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Position Summary: Responsible for assembly of products, performing quality checks and making needed adjustments prior to releasing to the next phase.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Prepare material for assembly using power and hand tools, making holes and attaching fasteners to bolt product together.
- Read, interpret, and follow specific requirements and/or instructions of each work order.
- Accurately measure fabric and metal with a tape measure to confirm product matches order specifications.
- Lift product up to 45 pounds either waist‑high and/or overhead and secure on the jig.
- Perform final quality checks on all product prior to shipping.
- Follow safety requirements, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in process improvements and housekeeping requirements within assigned area and/or facility.
- Degree: HS Diploma/GED
- Years of experience in manufacturing: 1+ years

Approximate time spent in activities such as walking, bending, lifting. Standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally; up to 30 pounds frequently; up to 20 pounds constantly.
Work ConditionsEnvironment:
Light manufacturing. Frequent exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and interior/exterior weather. Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles. Noise level usually loud. Manufacturing environment not climate controlled.
