We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with 2+ years of tank and/or trailer repair, and fabrication experience for our Fife, WA location!

Shift
Hours:
Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay Range: $28.00 to $42.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
(Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.)
Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:
- The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
- Tank service and repair
- Trailer suspension installation and repair
- Experience with air brake systems and repairs
- TIG & MIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience
- Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)
- Background in confined space entry (preferred)
- Must obtain a High School Diploma or GED
Physical Demands:
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
- Must be able to work in confined spaces
