Consistent - No Residentials - Fed Ex Delivery Driver

Responsibilities- Drive an 18ft step van delivering and picking up packages.
- Complete approximately 70 to 90 delivery stops (150 to 350 packages per day) and about 7 to 15 pickups.
- Deliver to commercial businesses only in Seattle/SoDo; no residential deliveries.
- Perform safety-driven driving, daily vehicle inspections, and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Load and organize daily loads; ensure accurate disposition of packages for delivery and pickup.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with management.
- Start at Fife around 8:30am–9:00am.
- Drive to Seattle/SoDo for deliveries; back to the Fife terminal around 5:30pm–6:00pm (traffic considered).

- Be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
- Pass a drug test (including marijuana) with random drug screens during employment.
- Pass a DOT physical.
- Be able to safely lift/carry up to 75 lbs., up to 150 lbs. with a hand truck.
- Pass Fed Ex Ground criminal background check.
- Reliable transportation to and from work; be on time and ready to work each day.
- Be able to climb stairs and work in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and proactive attitude.
- Operate your vehicle safely at all times.
- Deliver and pick up packages to businesses; routes vary, but drivers typically perform up to 150 stops per day.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and fluid checks.
- Load vehicle for deliveries and organize daily loads.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Provide customer service and maintain communication with management.
- Accurately operate scanners and track delivery progress.
- Ensure proper disposition of packages and pickups; maintain route integrity.
- Deliver the entire route in a timely manner.
Training Paid training ($750 per week) will be provided that covers delivery/route procedures, standard equipment operations, customer service skills, and driver safety.
