Burntisland, Fife Hybrid Working (4 days office, 1 day homeworking) Up to £38,000 + Benefits

Iconic Resourcing is delighted to be partnering exclusively with Briggs Marine to recruit a permanent HR Advisor into their growing HR team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious HR professional who is looking to build their employee relations experience, broaden their commercial HR exposure and develop towards a future HR Business Partner role.

Supporting a diverse, multi-site workforce, you ll work closely with managers across a wide range of operational and specialist teams, providing practical HR advice while developing your own expertise within a supportive and collaborative environment.

This role would suit an experienced HR Assistant or Senior HR Assistant ready to step into an Advisor position, or an existing HR Advisor looking for a new challenge and genuine long-term career progression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a range of employee relations matters including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, capability and investigation cases.
  • Provide practical and commercially focused HR advice to managers.
  • Coach and support managers in handling people issues effectively and confidently.
  • Build strong relationships across multiple locations and varied employee groups.
  • Prepare HR documentation and maintain accurate case records.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across HR processes, policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider HR team to deliver an effective and professional HR service.
About You
  • Previous HR experience within a generalist HR environment.
  • Exposure to employee relations casework and workplace investigations.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build credibility with managers and employees at all levels.
  • Resilient, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting a multi-site workforce would be advantageous.
  • Trade union exposure would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Eager to learn, develop and take the next step in your HR career.
