Veterinary Receptionist

Passionate about Pets? Come and join our team! We are currently looking for a Full‑time Veterinary Receptionist to join our friendly team at Provost Vets.

Responsibilities include booking appointments, communicating with clients face‑to‑face or on the phone, taking payments, performing administrative tasks, and supporting the clinical team as required.

Previous experience in a veterinary practice would be preferred, although we will consider applicants with prior reception and client‑facing experience. The candidate must be computer literate, able to work under pressure, and work well within a team.

Full training will be given regarding health and safety on site and the practice management system that is utilised on site. It would also be an advantage to have a full UK driving licence so that shifts can be undertaken at either of our other two sites in Newport or Ladybank if required.

This is a full‑time permanent role working 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days. There will be 1 in 4 Saturdays which is return in lieu time.
