EYFS General Teaching Assistant; SEN

Salary: GTA £19,131.00 (Actual salary incl. SEN allowance pending pay award)

Grade: GTA SEN is Grade CD / SCP 3 (with additional SEN allowance)

Contract: Fixed Term Appointment to 31/07/2027

Hours: 30 hrs GTA SEN (8:45am – 15:15pm Monday – Friday, This role will include lunchtime supervision

Location: Hunmanby, North Yorkshire

General Teaching Assistant (SEN) within the EYFS Setting.

The Headteacher and Governing Body of Hunmanby Primary School are seeking to appoint a motivated and inspiring GTA (SEN) to join our small, friendly team. Under the direction of the class teacher, this post will be within the EYFS setting to support and improve access to learning for a child/children with additional needs. The role will involve 1:1 work as well as integrated support with the whole class.

This would be on a fixed term basis, until 31st July 2027.

• Has experience working with children, has sound knowledge of EYFS (in particular SEN children);

• Be able to develop positive working relationships with pupils, parents, staff and other professionals.
• Be able to support in the delivery of high quality learning experiences for all pupils.
