Rotorcraft Support, Inc. (RSI), founded in 1986, operates one of the most comprehensive helicopter maintenance facilities in the United States. We are an FAA and EASA Certified Part 145 Repair Station, a Factory Authorized Service Center, and an OEM Parts Distributor for leading helicopter manufacturers. With nearly 40 years of experience, we provide global support in maintenance, repair, overhaul, modifications, avionics, component exchange, and OEM factory parts for private, corporate, utility, law enforcement, firefighting, and government operators.

Position

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Helicopter Hydraulic Technician to join our team in Fillmore, CA. This role is responsible for the inspection, repair, and overhaul of hydraulic components in accordance with FAA, OEM, and RSI SMS Program quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, repair, and overhaul hydraulic systems and components (pumps, actuators, servos, valves, landing gear systems).
  • Perform teardown, cleaning, testing, and reassembly of hydraulic components.
  • Maintain part traceability in compliance with FAA regulations and OEM instructions.
  • Research and document FAA Airworthiness Directives, Manufacturer Service Bulletins, and other technical data.
  • Ensure all work meets or exceeds aircraft workmanship standards.
  • Properly use and maintain shop equipment, tools, and technical publications.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, OEMs, and other technicians to resolve technical issues and prioritize workloads.
  • Accurately document work performed per FAA, OEM, and RSI requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Hydraulic Technician in the aviation industry (preferred).
  • Ability to provide and maintain a complete set of personal tools appropriate for the role.
  • Employment is contingent upon participation in the FAA/DOT drug and alcohol testing program
