Construction Shop Assistant

Kirk Corporation is seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Shop Assistant to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in keeping things organized, and is eager to learn more about the construction industry.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to tackle a variety of tasks both in the shop and out in the field. Prior experience is helpful, but not required — we’ll provide training to help you succeed.

• Assist with general shop maintenance and organization
• Maintain and prepare tools, materials, and equipment for field crews
• Support project teams with loading, unloading, and material handling
• Operate or assist with equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, or bobcats (training provided)
• Perform a variety of indoor and outdoor tasks to keep operations running smoothly

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Familiarity with hand and power tools (a plus)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Experience with forklifts, scissor lifts, or similar equipment is a plus (training available)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required for driving duties)
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
