VHS is looking for a qualified Physician - Urology.

  • Description: Blanchard Valley Urology Associates is currently seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Urology physician to join their group full-time. Located in Central/NW Ohio with da Vinci Xi Surgical Robots and da Vinci Table Motion on site.

    The BVHS urologists provide advanced innovative care to adults and pediatrics and they specialize in disorders of the urinary tract and male reproductive system. The team uses state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and advanced treatment techniques - robot-assisted technology and many other laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures to manage all urological problems. Blanchard Valley Health System serves over an eight-county area in Northwest Ohio and is a member of Mayo Clinic Care Network.

    Job Description:

    Supportive and collaborative medical staff operations team and leadership

    Autonomy and input with schedule volumes and practice operations

    Local administration with all decision-making in BV Hospital in Findlay Leadership who are invested and seek your input

    Time with patients who respect your care Strong and available subspecialty support

    Opportunity to provide and receive mentorship

    Group with surgical and robotics expertise Flexible office hours averaging between 20-30 patients/day
    1.5-2 OR days per week based on surgical volume

    Surgical cases at main hospital critical access hospital and surgery center
    24-hour in-house hospitalist service available for ED admissions

    No more than 1:3 call very light with mostly phone consultations on the off hours

    Office procedures cystos male/female vasectomy under local bladder and prostate biopsies stent removal PTNS CMG PNEs with Axonics Bulkamid and Botox injections

    Equipment Olympus CV 170 Cysto Towers x 3 with two rigid scopes and two flexible Phillips Epiq 5 Ultra Sound Uro Nav Fusion Biopsy Urodynamics Uro Lift Nitrous Four da Vinci Xi Surgical Robots with da Vinci Table Motion Establishing prostatectomy and cystectomy programs fed by 6 other providers

    Strong collegial subspecialty support

    EMR:
    Cerner Accepting residents new grads and experienced physicians

    Not accepting visa candidates

    Not accepting Locums providers

    Compensation and Benefits:

    Salary range: 560000 to 650000/year based on training and experience

    RVU bonus
