Surgery - Vascular Physician

• Lead the development of a community-based vascular surgery program.
• Provide advanced vascular surgical care, including management of aneurysmal disease, carotid artery disease, and peripheral vascular disease.
• Perform both open and endovascular procedures.
• Offer non-surgical interventions and medical therapies.
• Maintain a balanced weekly schedule of 2 clinic days and 3 surgical days.
• Participate in night/weekend call shifts, sharing responsibilities with colleagues.
• Supervise advanced practice providers involved in vascular care delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including cardiology and interventional radiology.
• Contribute to program growth and expansion plans, including future recruitment efforts.
• Educate patients and families on treatment options and preventative care.
• Engage in department service activities, contributing to the overall medical community.
• Receive a clinical faculty appointment through The Ohio State University.

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Vascular Surgery.
• Unrestricted Ohio medical license (or willing to obtain).
• DEA license required prior to starting the position.
• Clean malpractice history and license.
• Ability to provide documentation of recent NPDB report.

• Ohio Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
• DEA Certification (must be obtained prior to start).
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Vascular Surgery is mandatory.
