Physician - Rheumatology

Overview

This position offers a flexible work schedule with the option for extended morning or evening hours.

• Both part-time and full-time schedules are available: 2-5 days per week with day lengths of 8, 10, or 12 hours.
• Week On/Week Off system, operating from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Fridays, and 4 hours on Saturdays.
• 100% outpatient with optional inpatient specialist consultations available.

The role includes 24-hour in-house Hospitalist services, presenting a diverse spectrum of interesting and complex cases. The practice and team are committed to providing robust support. Physicians will enjoy autonomy with input regarding schedules, patient volumes, and practice operations, enabling meaningful interactions with patients who value their care.

Local administration facilitates decision-making within BV Hospital in Findlay, leadership is actively engaged, and there are opportunities for mentorship and access to subspecialty support.

Submissions are welcomed from both new graduates and experienced physicians. This is a permanent position that may necessitate residency within the immediate local vicinity; relocation may also be required and will be discussed during the interview process.

Candidates must possess Board Eligibility (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certification in Rheumatology.

An Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain one) is required, as is DEA certification prior to the commencement of employment. A clean malpractice history and maintained licenses are also required.
