VHHA offers a wide variety of services including, but not limited to: civil engineering, general surveying and construction layout staking, project management, site plan analysis, landscape design, GIS consulting and drafting services.

Position: Civil Design Engineer

Location: Findlay, Ohio

• Prepare engineering drawings, reports, and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Design site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, utility infrastructure, and erosion control plans
• Perform hydraulic and hydrologic calculations for stormwater management systems
• Prepare permit applications and coordinate with local agencies and utility providers
• Assist in cost estimating, project documentation, and construction support
• Collaborate with survey and field staff to integrate accurate site data into design plans
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to project planning discussions

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field required
• E.I.T. certification preferred; P.E. license or ability to obtain a plus
• 1–5 years of relevant experience in civil/site design preferred
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D required
• Working knowledge of Ohio EPA, ODOT, and local design standards desirable
• Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Full-time position (40+ hours per week)
• Typical hours:
  Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Occasional overtime or adjusted hours may be required for field work or project deadlines
• Primarily office-based with occasional site visits throughout northwest Ohio
