This position’s focus is to take lead from a project engineer to conceptualize, detail and record the design of midstream oil & gas facilities such as loading racks, meter stations, valve sites, pipelines, pump stations, bulk terminals, and other related facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Work closely with designers, engineers, and project managers to develop accurate and concise P&IDs, One-Line, Cause/Effect, 2D modeling, 3D modeling, and other drawings as required by the project. Prepare drawings up through construction.
- Handle assignments and projects with moderate supervision and complete with a high attention to detail within acceptable time standards.
- Apply equipment specifications per client standards to detailed design.
- Provide document preparation, submission, and control between Ridge and the client.
- Drafting and detailing experience with AutoCAD.
- Ability to create and/or modify drawings from engineer-provided markups with a high level of attention to details.
- Knowledgeable of file sharing, document management and collaboration tools such as FTP, SharePoint, Autodesk Vault, Workfront etc.
- Strong professional verbal and written communication skills within a team environment.
- Highly organized, efficient, and detail oriented.
- Ability to perform tasks efficiently to meet client's timeline.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will primarily be working at a desk.
Working Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works indoors at a computer. Rarely, the employee will be expected to travel to client’s work sites and offices.
Materials and Equipment Used:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly use computers, phone, copiers, analytical electronic devices, and operate a motor vehicle. The employee is expected to be familiar with Microsoft Office tools and the Autodesk Architecture, Engineering, & Construction collection.
