Role Overview

TITLE: Therapist, Behavioral Health

RESPONSIBLE TO: Clinical Supervisor

WORK AREA: Outpatient office

SIGN-ON BONUS: $5,000.00

SUMMARY: PATH Behavioral Health, an expanding force in behavioral health, seeks outstanding individuals to join our organization. We aim to redefine the mental health care experience by offering clients a fully integrated system of care with zero-barrier access. We believe everyone deserves compassionate, high-quality care, especially those historically underserved. To expand our reach across Ohio, we are hiring a Behavioral Health Therapist to work collaboratively with nurses, nurse practitioners, case managers, and therapists within our one-stop agency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical counseling, diagnostic interviews, assessments, and develop treatment plans for children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Deliver evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy in a supportive, stigma-free environment.
  • Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to create customized treatment plans and ensure holistic care.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and emerging trends.
  • Advocate for mental health awareness and equitable access to care within the community.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master’s degree in Social Work or Clinical Counseling from an accredited university; a Bachelor’s in Social Work is acceptable with a valid LSW license.
  • Licensure: Licensed as LSW, LISW, LMFT, ILMFT, LPC, or LPCC.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, including at least 1 year in an outpatient setting.
  • Physical Effort: Ability to work under stress and irregular hours; requires extended sitting, computer use, and keyboarding.
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Excellent verbal and written communication; strong grammar for clear client and colleague interactions.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Competency in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, telemedicine services, and related software; fine motor dexterity for task execution.
  • Background: Must pass all federal and state background checks and meet company policies on education and work history.
