MEDICAL ASSISTANT/RECEPTIONIST - Nephrology Office - Findlay, OH

The Toledo Clinic's Nephrology Office, located in Findlay, Ohio, is seeking a full‑time or part‑time Medical Assistant (RMA/CMA/CCMA) or experienced Medical Receptionist.

Hours:

Monday–Thursday, either 8:00‑5:00 or 12:00‑5:00.

Sign‑On Bonus: $2,000 to qualified Medical Assistants and Certified Patient Care Techs, payable within 30 days of hire once credentials are verified. After one year of service, eligible for an additional $2,000 Retention Bonus

Assist physicians with patient treatment, prepare patients for physicians, and perform various clerical duties under the supervision of the Office Manager.

• Assist doctors with patient care (e.g., removing sutures, staples, moles).
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, handle patient charts.
• Escort patients to exam rooms.
• Prepare exam rooms.
• Prepare patients for doctors (e.g., histories, blood pressure, vitals).
• Sterilize and prepare instruments.
• Call in prescription refills as requested by the physician.
• Order and maintain exam room supplies and instruments.
• Follow up with lab work and/or X‑rays.
• Administer injections.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Consistently arrives at work in professional attire on time and completes all tasks within the established time frame.
• Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co‑workers as needed.
• Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
• Credentialed as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) or equivalent.
• Medical‑assisting degree or diploma from an accredited school required.

• Clinical medical‑assisting experience.
