About the PositionAs a Quality Technician, you will play a vital role in the production, inspection and packaging of every great product that leaves our facility. You will make retail storage and janitorial products that you and your neighbors rely on every day.
Available Shift- Nights: 7pm – 7am
All shifts are scheduled 2/2/3:

- Ensure that all presses are running quality approved parts.
- Able to identify potential causes for qualify defects.
- Work with team members to correct quality defects.
- Complete First Piece Approval Process at the beginning of each shift.
- Hourly quality checks.
- Accurately completing all reports and able to communicate findings.
- Inspecting and testing all material as it enters the facility.
- Additional Testing as assigned.
- Train others on quality standards.
- Follow all American Plastics safety guidelines.
- Additional responsibilities at management discretion.
- A successful Quality Assurance should have the following skills.
- Ability to run all presses on the production floor correctly.
- Strong communication skills
- Positive company attitude.
- Task oriented.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to be accountable.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 40 lbs. and up to 80 lbs. team lift.
- Communicate effectively, both written and verbal
- Internal Candidates must pass all pre requisitions to be considered for this position.
- PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN & AUTHORIZE BACKGROUND CHECK
- Communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
- Quality experience is a plus but not required.
- Must demonstrate good judgement and decision-making ability.
- Highly motivated and independent.
- Adhere to all safety procedures & help promote a clean work environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
