Warehouse Worker – Lift Truck Operator (2nd & 3rd Shift)

Penske Logistics is seeking energetic warehouse associates to join our team as Lift Truck Operators. This role is ideal for individuals who value safety, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and want the opportunity for growth within a leading logistics company.

• 2nd Shift – Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
• 3rd Shift – Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am
• Initial training takes place on the 1st shift for approximately two weeks.

• $20.52 base rate plus a $1.00 shift differential for 2nd/3rd shifts

• Accurately match numbers and letters on inventory items
• Match, stage, and sort products for loading and unloading trailers
• Open and close dock doors and operate dock chain
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to all safety requirements
• Pack and label products, shrink wrap, and perform quality control checks
• Electronically scan products using the warehouse management system
• Complete daily logs and communicate with associates from other shifts
• Attach identifying tags to containers and document material movements
• Read work orders and determine material and equipment needs
• Record unit counts and move, using daily production sheets or work tickets
• Assemble product containers, crates, and customer orders using hand tools
• Weigh or count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse mechanical equipment where applicable
• Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow written and oral directions
• Strong organizational, multi‑tasking, and time‑management skills
• Customer‑service oriented and able to work independently
• Flexible to work overtime and the required shift schedule
• Willingly accept full attendance for non‑climate‑controlled conditions
• Background check, employment verification, and drug screening required
• Preferred: experience with a sit‑down forklift

• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 100 lbs (45 kg) as required
• Ability to see, hear, and communicate effectively, including good focused vision and peripheral vision
• Must remember and follow instructions, guidelines, and safety rules at all times
