- Operate tire mold manufacturing equipment and other related industrial equipment with accurate precision, gaining hands-on experience producing high quality products in Goodyear's mold manufacturing plants.
- Install sipes and vents into molds while ensuring quality work.
- Abide by standard work procedures and safety requirements to meet quality expectations for all output.
- May include lifting light to heavy materials, climbing, standing, squatting, bending, and working at heights to complete daily tasks.
- Punctuality and attendance are essential to the success of the operations and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
12-hour Day shifts, Monday–Friday (No weekends).
Typical schedule:
Week 1 – 3 days on, 4 days off;
Week 2 – 4 days on, 3 days off;
Repeat.
- Tall Timbers Mold Operations Plant located in Findlay, OH.
- Fast-paced, heavy industrial environment. Climate-controlled; may be noisy.
- Safety is the highest priority, including hearing and eye protection, protective clothing and steel-toed shoes.
- HS Diploma/GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to understand defined technical processes and read technical drawings
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be able to successfully complete all post-offer, pre-employment contingencies
- Basic computer skills
- Familiar with using air hand tools
- Working toward an Associate Degree or Certification in Welding or Maintenance or previous experience operating CNC machining equipment and CAM Programming
- Previous manufacturing and/or industrial experience in metal working or CNC machining
- Experience using precision measurement devices such as calipers and micrometers
- Basic welding experience
