About the Role
A Millwright is responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment in our manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to interpret drawings related to machinery installation and operation, and perform preventive maintenance. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical power transmission, welding, rigging, and pipe fitting is desired. The position requires adhering to safety regulations and PPE requirements, with an emphasis on self-direction and project management with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years old
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Ability to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend, and work at heights
- Millwright Journeyman's card or 3 years of equivalent experience
- Must pass an aptitude test administered by an outside party
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay: $37.57/hour with a $0.65 shift differential for night shift
- $1,000 sign-on bonus, paid in two installments
Work Schedule & Environment
- 12-hour shifts, any shift (day/night) on a 2-2-3 schedule including weekends
- Fast-paced, heavy industrial environment in Findlay, Ohio
- Conditions may be hot, cold, noisy; safety gear required at all times
