Overview
Valgroup is hiring a Facilities Assistant to support our manufacturing facility in Findlay, Ohio
.
This role supports maintenance tasks, building inspections, safety-related equipment inspections, and general facility upkeep to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Base pay range: $19.00/hr - $19.00/hr

- Shift: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm
- Perform routine maintenance on building interior and exterior
- Complete building inspections in a timely manner
- Manage the waste (dumpsters and recyclables) throughout the plant
- Assist with miscellaneous tasks such as painting, hanging photos, changing light bulbs, etc.
- Assist with inspections and maintenance of safety-related equipment (fire extinguishers, sprinklers, heaters, e-lights, hoists, eye wash stations, etc.)
- Run errands for facility maintenance parts
- Assist with dust clean-up, floor maintenance, window cleaning, etc.
- Paint lines on floors in warehouses and production areas
- Support maintenance and safety departments when needed
- Operate forklift safely
- Assist other projects and duties as needed
- Maintenance experience (preferred)
- Problem-solving
- Safe work behaviors
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
- Starting pay of $18.50 per hour
