Position Summary

As a Carpenter, you’ll play a key role in structural framing, finishing work, and concrete form construction. You’ll work under the General Superintendent and contribute to a variety of impactful projects while upholding our standards of precision and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints and create accurate layouts for projects

Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials

Assemble and join structural components with precision

Construct frames and forms for concrete casting

Build/install stairs, cabinets, racks, and other wooden fixtures

Ensure proper positioning, durability, and alignment of structures

Install pre-constructed structural elements and materials

Operate tools safely (saws, nail guns, sanders, etc.)

Build scaffolding and work at heights when needed

Maintain compliance with all safety and quality requirements

Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of carpentry tools, equipment, and construction techniques

Familiarity with Federal, State of Ohio, and KBC safety regulations

Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills

Union membership (or willingness to join Carpenter Union)
