Headquartered in Vancouver, Washington, NJFC has been providing our nation’s discerning food service, retail, industrial and institutional customers with the finest quality canned and pouched products for over 50 years. NJFC operates three production facilities:
Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA.;
San Benito Foods, in Hollister, CA; and Toma-Tek in Firebaugh, CA.
We are looking for aseasonal Warehouse Bin Assembly I to properly assemble knockdown bins to a finished assembled status. Stage proper parts for assembly line production. Follow directions in completing daily quotas for bin assembly. Follows all plant safety policies. Ensures that the response time to any utility failure is adequate for minimal production downtime.
This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate daily figures on all bins produced on each shiftat our Toma Tek plant in Firebaugh, CA.This is a seasonal position supporting our fresh pack season, typically June – October.

Key Responsibilities:
- Performs start up, operates and maintains area air compressors, and maintains required operational logs.
- Executes thorough shift pass down with oncoming Operator.
- Relieves other operators for their breaks in a timely manner and assist others as needed.
- Maintains a high sanitation standard within the respected area.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) and experience in a production plant environment.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals and to read, write and speak English satisfactorily to perform the essential functions.
- Ability to use pneumatic hand-held tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, work extended hours, weekends, and any shift assigned during the fresh pack season, typically July to early October.
Compensation:
The wage is $20.09, with a 2nd shift differential of $.50 and a 3rd shift differential of $1.00.
