Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA.;
San Benito Foods, in Hollister, CA; and Toma-Tek in Firebaugh, CA.
We are looking for a MRO Maintenance Clerk to deliver administrative support to plant Maintenance, Repairs and Operations (MRO) and Maintenance functions. Supports the requisitioning of equipment and parts and maintains the Advanced Maintenance Management System (AMMS) and People Soft data bases with respect to MRO and Maintenance functions. This role will be responsible for working closely with management to develop, maintain and continuously improve the plant preventative maintenance program at our Toma Tek plant in Firebaugh, CA.

Key Responsibilities- Coordinates and tracks rental equipment and services to ensure time processing of invoices.
- Assists with the execution of maintenance requisitioning of equipment/parts; monitors status of materials and contract services.
- Prepares purchase requisitions and/or other supporting documents for purchasing new or replenishing items.
- Performs receipt and issue functions in AMMS and People Soft; performs receipt function in P/S for incoming parts and services.
- Assists in compiling data from various sources and enters applicable information into computer systems (People Soft/AMMS) to maintain inventory, receipts, and inventory tracking program.
- High school diploma or GED; associate’s degree in business or IT preferred; or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties of the job.
- Two years’ experience in inventory control and procurement management systems in a manufacturing environment, including inventory control, CMMS development, tracking and supplier relations.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) software, Union environment and food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word and excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and to work extended schedule and weekends during the fresh pack season, typically July to early October.
The wage range is $20.70 - $22.70, based on experience and qualifications.
