Role: Senior Accountant

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics.

Knowledge: The candidate has completed at least 5 years of experience in Administration Finance and Control functions. Essential requirements are the excellent knowledge of excel and data analysis, with previous experiences in accounting reconciliations.

The Senior Accountant supports the month-end closing preparation and the budgeting activities reconciling the Fixed Assets and the Assets under Construction as well as monitoring the cost of labor. This position addresses deadlines and a multitude of accounting and controlling activities including constant general ledger monitoring, financial reporting, quarterly and yearly SOX activities and audit preparation.

• Manage Fixed Asset cycle, ensuring control over the entire investment lifecycle within the appropriate accounting treatment.
• Monitoring and control labor costs perform a periodic payroll reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls (SOX) and accounting standards.
• Support the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Support planning processes (yearly budgeting and periodic forecasting).
• Maintain, update and review relevant financial master data (projects, assets tags, accounting mapping schemes, etc.)
• Support the timely preparation and analysis of the periodic Reporting Package - Participation in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
