Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist (Contract)

Fishers, IN (Fully Onsite)

Schedule:

Approximately 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM

Our client, a well-established distributor in the Fishers area, is seeking a Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for an experienced A/P professional who enjoys working in a collaborative office environment and is looking for a consistent part-time schedule.

This is a fully onsite position and requires someone who can commit to a set weekly schedule during standard business hours.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain vendor records and ensure documentation is complete and accurate
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments and account status
• Assist with check runs and electronic payment processing
• Support month-end accounts payable activities
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as needed
