About The Position
As the Partnership Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring First Internet Bank’s fintech customers derive the maximum value from our products and services. You will lead in quantifying customer value, driving adoption of the full range of First Internet Bank products, influencing engagement in our fintech ecosystem, sharing best practices, answering business questions, identifying opportunities, and developing strategic goals and objectives.
You will need personal accountability for results and willingness to go the extra mile for each customer.
What You Will Do
- Provide self-sufficient management with up to 2-4 fintech partner accounts.
- Serve as the customer’s experience advocate and guide throughout their journey.
- Own the enablement strategy for each fintech customer to maximize mutual value from the partnership.
- Collaborate with Technology, Finance, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal to ensure an excellent customer experience and support business development and sales opportunities where appropriate.
- Work with the marketing team to curate case studies, testimonials, and other Voice of the Customer materials.
- Establish and maintain strong advisory relationships with key customer stakeholders and end-users as the primary contact at First Internet Bank.
- Align programs with regulatory requirements as a first line of defense.
- Influence value realization by monitoring health and value metrics.
- Collaborate with other partnership team members on value growth strategies for the ecosystem.
- Act as VOC representative to identify opportunities for additional products, services, and capabilities.
- Participate in fintech community events (live and online) and build the First Internet Bank fintech community.
- Identify opportunities for strategic alliances and partnerships aligned with customers’ growth goals.
- Drive revenue retention and value growth with assigned accounts.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of three years of prior relationship management experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Technology or equivalent experience.
- Experience with contract negotiations preferred.
- Strong desire to contribute to the economic diversity and change in fintech.
- Data-driven decision making with the ability to present to external parties.
- Proven ability to craft and present presentations and materials to stakeholders with storytelling skills.
- Track record of achieving retention or growth targets.
- Familiar with change management practices and process re-engineering.
- Knowledge or experience in financial services products, solutions, processes, and/or compliance.
- Strong business and technical acumen and ability to collaborate with customers at executive levels across functions.
- Understanding of value drivers in transactional business models.
- Experience using CRM tools and developing customer success plans.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including leading meetings and hosting webinars.
- Professional office setting. Primarily sedentary, with long periods at a computer.
- Must be able to move throughout the office and buildings to obtain or relay information.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
