• Prepare accurate and comprehensive take-offs for commercial, healthcare, municipal, and educational projects.
• Actively participate in the full estimating process, from conceptual budgets to final bid proposals.
• Must be willing to still do take-offs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and design teams.
• Review and analyze plans, specifications, and contract documents for project requirements.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Utilize industry-standard estimating software for quantity surveys and cost analysis.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to help clients achieve project goals.
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams throughout the preconstruction process.
• Help shape winning proposals and presentations for negotiated bids.
• Stay current with market trends, pricing, and material availability.
• Demonstrate excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
