• Actively participate in the full estimating process, from conceptual budgets to final bid proposals
• Must be willing to still do take‑offs
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and design teams
• Review and analyze plans, specifications, and contract documents for project requirements
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals
• Utilize industry‑standard estimating software for quantity surveys and cost analysis
• Identify value engineering opportunities to help clients achieve project goals
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams throughout the preconstruction process
• Help shape winning proposals and presentations for negotiated bids
• Stay current with market trends, pricing, and material availability
• Demonstrate excellent organization, communication, and problem‑solving skills
