Salary: $75,000–$85,000 (based on experience)
Schedule:
Full‑Time, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM

Your ImpactYou’ll be the financial backbone of HSHC, guiding leadership with data‑driven insight and ensuring every resource supports our mission.
You will- Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance
- Develop and maintain fiscal policies, internal controls, and best‑practice accounting systems
- Prepare monthly financial statements and analyze results for the CEO and Board Finance Committee
- Manage Accounts Payable, Receivable, bank reconciliations, deposits, and cash flow forecasting
- Lead annual budget development, audit coordination, and Form 990 preparation
- Support grant management, ensuring spending and reporting compliance
- Collaborate with leaders to build financial strategies aligned with long‑term sustainability
- Maintain relationships with banks, auditors, donors, and county partners
- Mentor staff and strengthen financial literacy across departments
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or nonprofit experience preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience — nonprofit or small‑business leadership experience a plus
- Proficiency in Quick Books, Excel, and CRM/Donor systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Exceptional accuracy, organization, and analytical insight
- Proven success managing budgets, audits, and reporting cycles
- Confidence communicating financial concepts to both financial and non‑financial audiences
- High integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to balance structure with flexibility
