Job Description
  • Lead and review 401(k) and other ERISA plan audits in accordance with ERISA, GAAP, and relevant AICPA standards.
  • Develop and execute audit plans, testing procedures, and documentation for defined contribution plans.
  • Manage client relationships, fieldwork, and deliverables across multiple concurrent engagements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and wealth management partners to ensure cohesive client service.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the retirement plan audit client base and participate in business development efforts.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on ERISA and plan audit requirements.
  • Help build out methodology, templates, and best practices for the ERISA audit practice.
Requirements
  • Active CPA license.
  • 5+ years of audit experience with a strong focus on 401(k) and ERISA plan audits.
  • Proven track record managing audits from planning through completion.
  • Strong understanding of ERISA, DOL rules, and GAAP as applied to benefit plan audits.
  • Comfortable interfacing with clients, third‑party administrators, and internal stakeholders.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the Indianapolis metro area.
