Veterinary Technician Supervisor

VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center in Fishers, Indiana, is seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team as a Specialty Veterinary Technician Supervisor
.

In this role, you will oversee and support our Specialty Surgery and Ophthalmology Services while mentoring and developing our technical team to deliver exceptional patient care.

What You’ll Do:

• Direct workflow on the floor and ensure efficient operations in Specialty Surgery and Ophthalmology Services

• Cultivate an inclusive, positive, and collaborative hospital culture

• Partner with hospital management and supervisory teams to support hospital growth and excellence

• Assist with interviewing and onboarding new team members

• Mentor and educate technicians to strengthen skills and professional growth

• Lead staff meetings and provide opportunities for continuing education

• Resolve conflicts professionally and constructively

• Refine, implement, and maintain hospital protocols and best practices

• Ensure all technical staff follow VCA policies, guidelines, and recommendations

You will work closely with the Medical Director, Hospital Manager, Emergency Technician Supervisor, and other Department Supervisors to foster a winning team environment, deliver high‑quality patient care, and support the professional development of your colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT)

• 5+ years of experience in a specialty or emergency veterinary setting

• Demonstrated team leadership experience

• Passion for veterinary medicine and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
