At the Humane Society for Hamilton County, we don’t euthanize for space—and we treat every animal like royalty. If you’re the kind of person who believes animals deserve the best, and you're not afraid to get your hands dirty to give it to them, this could be your calling.

Our Kennel Cleaners are the frontline of comfort and care for the animals in our state-of-the-art shelter. You'll make sure every dog has a clean, safe, and low-stress space while keeping things moving behind the scenes.

• Clean kennels and provide fresh bedding, food, and water
• Give dogs time outside and keep them safe on leash
• Help spot medical needs and keep things running clean and smooth
• Work outside year-round and stay flexible during a fast-paced day

• A strong work ethic and heart for animals
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stay upbeat in a busy, sometimes messy environment
• A willingness to show up for the animals even when it’s hard
