Role OverviewAs a Global Quality Engineer based in Fishers, IN, you will ensure that all products, services or processes meet specific quality standards, design, develop and implement quality control systems worldwide. You will collaborate with operational and manufacturing departments, lead continuous improvement initiatives, identify and resolve quality problems, and work with suppliers and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality control procedures.
- Establish and communicate clear quality standards.
- Assess supplier capabilities and monitor performance.
- Facilitate problem solving and investigate root causes of non-conformance.
- Implement corrective/preventive actions to improve quality.
- Conduct internal and external audits.
- Identify and analyze trends, document findings and recommendations.
- Articulate business requirements across functions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Set and monitor key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies and inspectors.
- Knowledgeable, experienced, and proactive senior quality manager/engineer/auditor in a manufacturing/supply chain environment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with good technical understanding.
- Proven track record in leading continuous improvement projects.
- ISO internal auditing experience.
- Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Experience working with in-house and contract manufacturers.
- Experience developing, implementing, and managing supplier corrective action processes.
- Experience working with regulatory bodies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Production Management / Engineering / Business.
- Three to five years’ experience in a senior quality role.
- Certified Quality Engineer (desirable).
- Experience working within a manufacturing quality function.
- Six Sigma certified.
- Demonstrable involvement in quality improvement tools, FMEA, FAIR, PPAP.
- Ability to interpret engineer drawings and technical specifications.
- Comprehensive understanding of statistical analysis to validate and analyze manufacturing processes.
