INCOG is looking for an Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Technician who is passionate about teamwork, driven to improve quality processes, and eager to ensure operations readiness from a quality perspective. The IQC Technician will report to INCOG’s IQC Supervisor and work closely with Supply Chain, Quality Control, and Operations to support readiness of materials for manufacture of sterile, injectable products. The role includes routine sampling of components, API, BDS, and excipients, performing routine analytical techniques, and managing day‑to‑day tasks within the Incoming Quality Control laboratory such as consumables ordering, daily instrument calibration/verification, laboratory waste management, laboratory/equipment cleaning, and sample shipment coordination to outside laboratories.
The IQC Technician is crucial in maintaining efficient operational readiness by supporting our quality mindset with attention to detail, on‑time delivery, and a commitment to quality excellence.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are critical. The IQC Technician must clearly and concisely articulate complex issues to a range of audiences, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, and build productive, customer‑centric relationships with colleagues, clients, suppliers, and partners. The ideal candidate thrives in a team environment but can also work autonomously with strong self‑management and organizational skills.
Essential Job Functions- Be team oriented and contribute to special projects as needed.
- Set deadlines and prioritize work for self, group members, and support groups; review work performed by coworkers for accuracy and alignment with procedures.
- Collaborate with internal departments and teams to resolve quality issues regarding materials needed for operational campaigns.
- Understand urgency and act accordingly regarding turnaround times and release coordination.
- Sample and inspect incoming materials.
- Perform component visual inspection and dimensional analysis.
- Perform instrument verifications as needed.
- Generate and review Certificates of Analyses (COA’s) for material release from IQC testing.
- Perform peer data review as needed.
- Order required outside testing and coordinate shipment of samples to outside laboratories.
- Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex issues to a range of target audiences.
- Work autonomously with strong self‑management and organizational skills.
- Commit to a culture of quality with skills including attention to detail, on‑time delivery, and efficiency.

Job Requirements
- This position primarily supports the second shift (3 pm–11:30 pm).
- Associate’s Degree in a science discipline preferred or High School Degree with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical quality control.
- Strong math and documentation skills.
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal interaction skills.
- Ability to work in a highly regulated environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional computer skills evidenced by hands‑on work with automated data management and/or data analysis systems (LIMS, QMS, etc.).
- Experience with statistical material sampling.
- Experience with in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry—sterile manufacturing.
- Experience reading and interpreting compendial test methods (USP/EP/JP specifically).
- Experience in quality assurance/quality control.
