Village Pantry is hiring a Night Shift Sales Associate who will work primarily between 10 PM and 6 AM. The successful candidate will be the only employee on site, ensuring the store runs smoothly during the overnight hours.

$14.00 /hr – $14.00 /hr

We need someone who is confident, self‑motivated, and comfortable working alone for extended periods. You will handle everything from deep cleaning, stocking shelves, and maintaining the fuel area, to assisting late‑night customers and keeping the store secure, clean, and ready for the next day.

• Greet every customer with a smile and run the register accurately and efficiently.
• Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales, ensuring compliance with all age verification and legal requirements.
• Offer friendly service and upsell customers when possible to increase sales.
• Maintain a clean and safe inside and outside of the store, including:
  • Deep cleaning high‑use restrooms.
  • Wiping down and sanitizing gas pumps.
  • Picking up litter and trash from the floor and lot area.
  • Taking out trash to the dumpster in all kinds of weather.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise fresh and full.
• Maintain a clean and organized store – sweep, mop, clean windows, and maintain entryways.
• Willingly cross‑train in other departments, including deli, as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and step in to help wherever needed.

• Schedule:
  
  FT/PT 3rd shift 10 PM – 6 AM.

• Age Requirement:
  Must be 18 years or older in specified states; 21 years or older in all other states.
• Availability:
  Must work weekends and holidays; overnight shift 10 PM – 6 AM.
• Willingness:
  Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions; able to stay on feet for most of the shift.

  Capable of lifting 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
