Cashier​/Stocker

Overview

Customer Service Associate II position. The role involves assisting with daily store operations, merchandising, and supporting customers. You will be cross-trained to support the cash register and front-end duties as needed to ensure a clean, welcoming shopping environment.

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight in a safe manner in accordance with productivity standards
• Merchandising and stocking as needed
• Assisting with cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment while interacting professionally with customers, associates, and leaders
• Managing sales transactions while working the assigned cash register
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
• Physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, climb, push, pull, and perform repetitive lifting with or without reasonable accommodation
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• High level of integrity
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting
